When listing your professional skills on your resume, be specific! Employers assume that you have a pleasant phone demeanor and work well with others. These abilities are expected of us in the American workforce. What employers are scanning your resume for are the transferable skills that you can put to use on day one on the job.
Can you operate a forklift? Are you fluent in Bengali and Spanish? Do you know how to write HTML? Yes? Then list it! Your professional skills should speak to what you can do for your employers.
